First one does not require a permit but can be extensive & is more cosmetic. Second is more serious and does require a permit for removing wall & an engineer. Both require different types of experienced professionals. Their experience brings knowledge, project management and the financial management. We have the experience of large and small structures in all 3 climate zones including several extensive historical projects.
